The display outputs supported by the PC’s onboard (integrated) graphics. Some systems can be configured with a discrete graphics card, which you can choose according to the outputs you need. Note: A few PCs do not have integrated graphics, therefore a discrete graphics card is required - in these instances, the outputs of the discrete graphics card are listed.

• HDMI is probably the most common type of connection to a display. There are many different types of HDMI, ranging from 1.4 to 2.1 which offer different output resolutions. This is also a common input found on TVs.
• DisplayPort has been able to output 4K resolutions at 60Hz since version 1.2. The current version of 1.4 allows for even higher resolutions. This type of connection is generally found on PC monitors.
• DVI was the first type of connection that provided a digital connection to the monitor and it still widely used. Although it is not capable of outputting a 4K resolution, hence the introduction of HDMI.
• VGA is an analog connection and therefore should be avoided, unless you have no other option.

The number of internal drive bays inside the case. Drive bays vary in size according to the case type, e.g. 2.5” or 3.5”. Details are shown in the specifications of each system. All systems are supplied with at least one M.2 drive and this is excluded from the total.

If you don’t intend to use your system for gaming you don’t need to select an option here.

• Light: This type of gaming PC is designed to play games that do not require a high-end graphics card. Ideal for games like LoL, CS or even Fornite at a maximum resolution of 1080p.
• Heavy: If you demand a PC that can accommodate a high-end graphics card for triple-A titles, high resolutions (4K) and high frame rates, then look no further.

The maximum amount of memory (RAM) supported by the system. You won’t necessarily want to configure the system with the maximum amount to begin with but this gives you an idea of how expandable it will be in the future.

Some customers need to connect a large number of monitors to their PC, for activities such as video editing or software development. Support for many monitors can also be useful for PCs used to drive public information display boards. This number applies to the on-board graphics card, or the default discrete graphics card where configured.

If you will be using your PC to drive a TV or high resolution monitor, select an output which matches your display’s resolution. The resolution applies to the onboard graphics card, or the default discrete graphics card where configured.

• Case window: If you want to have the internals of your PC on full display, click this option.
• Front USB-C port(s): USB Type-C is the newest type of connection and will become more and more popular in time. Until then, these PCs have the facility to route a Type-C port to the front of the PC for your convenience.
• Internal optical drive: PCs that feature a 5.25” optical drive bay (DVD/CD reader/writer) or it can be configured with an internal optical drive without a dedicated 5.25” bay.
• Live TV capable: These PCs have the option of being configured with a digital TV tuner, and once connected to your TVs aerial you’ll be able to tune it to receive a multitude of channels.
• Onboard Wi-Fi: These PCs have Wi-Fi has standard. It is still possible to add Wi-Fi to all other PCs, as long as they have a free PCIe slot.
• Optical audio output (S/PDIF): If you want to connect the PC to a DAC or external amplifier then an optical output (S/PDIF) might be useful.
• PCIe 4.0: All of the motherboards we use in our systems feature PCIe 3.0 at the least. Selecting this option provides a list of PCs that also support PCIe 4.0, allowing you to take full advantage of the speeds offered by the Samsung 980 Pro M.2 drives!
• PCIe 5.0: PCIe 5.0 offers twice the transfer rate of PCIe 4.0.
• RAID capable: We mainly have two types of RAID available. RAID 0 (Striping), offers an increase in performance by utilising two data drives. RAID 1 (Mirroring) is the best option if you want backup your valuable data.
• RGB: These PCs have the option of adding RGB lighting to the system. Best chosen with a case that includes a windowed side panel.
• Thunderbolt capable: By combining topologies, Thunderbolt 3 (TB3) gives you great flexibility in terms of connecting multiple type of peripherals to your PC. It could be the future of connecting devices to your PC. Note: Systems like the Intel NUCs have TB3 as standard, but others require an expansion card to provide TB3 connectivity, which is only available on specific motherboards.
• TPM: A Trusted Platform Module allows you to encrypt your data, making it very secure. Please note this is only possible when configuring the PC with TPM and Windows 10 Pro, Home is not supported.
